Fall 2009

Hi Maureen,

Attached are some pictures of our Mitzi. We sent the one of Jack holding her - who is horribly allergic to dogs with fur - and as you can see, he has no problem with our Tibetan Terrier!!! We just love her. If you find yourself in Syracuse, we would love for you to see her. Thanks for everything!

Spring 2010

Hi Maureen,

Just an update on our Mitzi...
We had her spayed this past week and they were able to repair a hernia she had at the same time.  I have the certificate but don't have your address to mail it to, so if you could send me that, I'll get a copy to you.

Mitzi is the sweetest dog I have ever owned.  She loves people....all people!!!  My mother has threatened to steal her, my sister-in-laws all want an exact copy of her.  My husband's parents even enjoy her, and they aren't dog people.  She has the best temperment I have ever seen in an animal.  We absolutely adore her!!!!

Hope all is well with you.  Keep us posted as to when you plan to have another litter....

Chowder

Spring 2010

Hello Maureen,

Chowder is a little bit moody, but still he is a good dog! Chowder and my other dog, Dolly, fight but "play-fight". Chowder can be hyper and really fun. He can jump, run, and when he takes a stuffed animal you can never get him! He runs outside and it's so much fun to chase him. So- if you are reading this right now you have found a fun little puppy to play with - but they do sleep a lot too. Have a nice day.

Wiley

Spring 2010

Hi Maureen.

Hope all is well. Just sending you the one year old pic. Wiley's no longer a puppy! Is Molly going to have another litter this year with Tag? I think we both dream of getting Wiley a playmate.

Spring 2010

Hi Maureen,

Wiley has been such an amazing addition to our family. His temperament is just wonderful -- he is sweet, gentle, and friendly and outgoing both with other dogs and people. He has also been very good with training, and everyone always marvels at how well behaved he is -- he is able to follow many commands and will rest quietly in a down stay all through dinner when asked. His favorite command, though, is "vacuum", when he comes running to "clean up" some edible tidbit dropped on the kitchen floor. And, of course, there is the obvious fact that he is such a beautiful dog -- we are constantly getting stopped on the street by adoring fans. What else can we say? He's the best!

Batal

Spring 2009

Hi Maureen,

You read my mind!!  I was just up loading some pictures. He is awesome. Potty training, no problem. Comes when called, is already sitting when asked. EVERYONE is in love with him. Took him to the vet yesterday and he passed with flying colors. He was apparently in his shell for the first couple of days, he is now out and full of it. He isn’t happy at night because the big dogs sleep on the bed, so yes he has been singing to us for most of the night......he is stuborn beyond belief!

He has his second class tonight so that should tire him out.  He is trying very hard to be alfa. Not a chance with Delilah, she just growls at him, but he keeps trying.  Sam is real sweet with him, but Batal is jumping on his head, walking under him, pulling his tail and biting his nose. Sam is good, he takes it, but mess with Sam’s chewies, then we have a disagreement.

He is my little shadow, and where ever I go he is there. Loves to give hugs, and when he knows Sam is going to go after him, he hides behind me.
We love him so much, and he is just so darn funny.  Right now he is laying on his mat chewing on a spoon!  Lord knows where he got that!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OUR LITTLE SWEETIE!!!

We love him to death!!

Best,
Betsey

Spring 2010

Hi Maureen,

Well I have good news and bad news.  Batal is doing great, and is the sweetest guy ever.  Bad news is he thinks he is a toy poodle.....LOL
He doesn't realize he is as big as he is.  He is traveling a lot but he is so good.  The latest trick is he carries Sam around by his harness.  It is really funny.  If Sam hides on him he grabs his top knot or his ears and pulls him out from under the chair.

How are you doing?  Any more pups coming along?

The hair is coming!!!  He gets brushed daily but boy does he love his snow and now MUD.  Man!!!!

Again he is a great boy and we love him with all of our heart.  He is a clown and his nick name is monkey!!!  He has chimpanzee eyes, and you can tell that there is a lot going through that head of his!!!

Thanks so much for writing!  It is so good to hear from you.  Best to you and your family!!!!

Best,
Betsey, Zade, Batal and Sam

Tashi

Summer 2010

Dear Maureen,

I hope your summer is going well and that the rain has let us at least a little there. We too have had a wet, muggy summer.

I owe you a picture of Tashi and the boys. I must say that Tashi is gorgeous. Everyone on the street stops us and comments how pretty she is. Her golden color is stunning, and she still has the white tips on her tail and paws. She also has a wonderful (amazing!) disposition. She's so friendly and playful and snuggly and easy going. She was spayed last week. We opted not to use the cone of shame and instead put her in onesies (I must admit that I was thrilled to finally get to buy some pink clothing!). She was a real trooper. She let us dress her and never bothered her belly. I think she also loved the attention because she was not out of my sight for one second.

I just wanted to ask you if you planned on extending the family. We thought it would be nice for Tashi to have a playmate, and to introduce the puppy to her before she got to used to running the show. If you are planning on a spring litter, please let us know. I think the timing would work, both in terms of Tashi's age at that point and having the nice weather for housebreaking.

I also have a grooming question. I constantly ask Tashi how she can see with all of that hair in her eyes. Do you trim the hair around the eyes?
I would love to hear how you and your family are doing.

I'll take some pictures and send them to you soon...promise. (I am attaching a photo that Mitch likes).
